ECOTEST THC Saliva Midstream Test 25’s

The Saliva Marijuana Rapid Test is designed for the qualitative detection of the THC parent drug in oral fluid via visual interpretation. The assay utilises immobilised THC parent antibodies on the test region of a membrane, and pre-coated colored anti-THC parent antibodies conjugated with colloidal gold on the sample pad. During the assay, the oral fluid specimen interacts with the colored antibody-conjugates. This mixture migrates through the membrane via capillary action, interacting with the immobilised reagents. In the presence of sufficient THC, a visible colored band forms at the test region, indicating a positive result. Absence of this band signifies a negative result. The appearance of a colored band at the control region serves as a procedural control, validating adequate specimen volume and membrane wicking.
